The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), an agency under the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), is offering dynamic internship opportunities for unemployed graduates to gain practical work experience that complements their studies.
This 24-month internship programme provides structured, on-the-job training in various fields across CIPC’s divisions, helping young professionals develop the technical, business, and regulatory skills needed to succeed in the corporate and public service environment.

 - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Call Centre Management or related field
 - Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.

- National Diploma or Degree in:
- Management Assistant

10. Internship: Innovation and Collaboration
Qualifications:
- National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6 or higher) in:
- Computer Science (specialising in Software Development and Programming)
 
 - Must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 75% or higher.
 - Must have participated in at least one hackathon.
 
11. Internship: Innovation and Collaboration (Software Development)
Qualifications:
- National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6 or higher) in:
- Software Development (with Mobile Application Development as a major module)
 
 - Must have achieved an average of 75% in the final year.
 - Must demonstrate practical knowledge of mobile app development.
 
12. Internship: Health and Safety Environment
Qualifications:
- BTech, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in:
- Safety Management
 
 
Selection Criteria
To be considered for the CIPC Graduate Internship Programme 2026, applicants must:
- Be unemployed South African citizens aged 18 to 35 years.
 - Hold a National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in a relevant field.
 - Have not previously participated in any internship programme.
 - Have no prior work experience related to their qualification.
 - Be willing to work full-time at CIPC’s offices in Sunnyside, Pretoria.
