Applications that meet the stated requirements are invited for a vacancy exists for a dynamic and driven SITE MANAGER to join a team based at the Western Cape – Somerset West area. This role reports directly to Contract Executive, in the Landscaping & Turf Business Unit.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Horticulture or any related tertiary qualification
- 5-7 years’ Technical experience in Landscape maintenance
- Strong Horticultural knowledge and plant care expertise
- Manage a medium to large staff compliment
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Will be required to formulate quotes, chair meetings
- Fully computer literate (MS Office proficiency essential)
- Basic Financial knowledge (Quotations, budgeting & Cost control)
- Strong problem-solving ability
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as main client with clients.
- Ensure effective communication and cooperation across with all levels of people
- Manage subordinates in line with company policies and procedures
- Maintain regular weekly communication with line management.
- Perform Ad hoc  duties as required by management includes overtime
- Conduct site walk- about and draw-up detailed reports
- Complete machinery checklists and submit reports to the manager.
- Assist in staff discipline processes and identify staff for potential development.
- Maintain daily attendance records on a daily basis and ensure accurate submission to payroll processing
- Do client monthly client specific audits and satisfaction surveys
