Internship Opportunities at Joburg City Theatres

1. Programming Internships (x3)

Location: Joburg Theatre, Soweto Theatre, Roodepoort Theatre
Reference: PR3/08/2025
Qualification: National Diploma/Bachelor’s in Theatre, Performing Arts, Arts Management, Project Management, or equivalent

Responsibilities include: supporting theatre productions, rehearsals, scheduling, production tracking, artist liaison, budgeting, and reporting.

2. Stage Internship (Roodepoort Theatre)

Location: Roodepoort Theatre

Qualification: National Diploma/Equivalent in Live Events Technical Production

Responsibilities include: rigging and operating lighting, audio, AV, assisting with sets/props, routine maintenance, and equipment inventory.
