The Cross Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) is a South African statutory body established to regulate and facilitate the movement of passengers and freight by road between South Africa and other Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries. Its main goal is to improve the flow, safety, and efficiency of cross-border road transport.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in activities related to the help desk functions.
- Research cross-border road transport policies and regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the Licensing team.
- Engagements with operators to assist with registration of accounts and submission of applications on the CrossEasy Permit System
- Stakeholder engagements Computer skills (Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Must be a South African Citizen.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to details.
- Can maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Matric or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree/ National Diploma in Transport Economics and related qualifications.
Competencies:
- Computer skills (Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to details.
- Can maintain confidentiality.
