Our Bargaining Council, which is known as the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI), is governed by the Labour Relations Act of 1995 which allows for registered employer and employee organisations to establish a bargaining council for an industry or area.
National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI) invites graduates to apply for Risk & Compliance Internships for 2025.
Purpose of the Internship
The goal of the NBCRFLI internship is to support the Risk & Compliance team in identifying potential threats to the organization and mitigating them. Interns will gain valuable exposure to professional standards and frameworks in risk management, audit, and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Interns will assist with a wide range of duties, including:
- Ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Compiling reports and working papers
- Archiving and document control
- Supporting departmental meetings, training, and awareness campaigns
- Risk identification and implementation of mitigation strategies
- Administrative support and general team assistance
Essential Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Hold a Matric certificate and a BTech or Degree in:
- Risk Management
- Internal Auditing
- Forensic Investigation
- Legal Studies
- IT Audit
- Be computer literate with strong attention to detail
- Possess good numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work both independently and collaboratively
Remuneration and Internship Duration
- Duration: 12 months
- Remuneration: Monthly stipend provided
