The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa) is a state-owned company responsible for nuclear energy research, development, and technology in South Africa. It was founded in 1999 and operates the Pelindaba Nuclear Research Centre. Necsa’s mandate is to use nuclear and related technologies for national and regional socio-economic development, covering a range of applications beyond just electricity generation.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between 18 – 35 years old
- Must have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate
- Must be unemployed
- Must have no criminal record
- Must not have previously participated in a learnership or internship
