  • Ability to pay attention to detail and work under pressure
  • Effective communication in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
  • Age between 21 and 35

Overview of Internship Programme

The Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (MFMIP) offers structured training and practical exposure in municipal budgeting, treasury, and financial management. Governed by the Municipal Finance Management Act, the programme builds skills through theoretical and practical learning, ending with a qualification in Municipal Finance Management.

  • Duration: Two-year fixed-term contract
  • Remuneration: R108,000.00 per annum (all inclusive)
