Job Summary
Redefine Properties is looking for an experienced and results-driven Building Manager Commercial to oversee the operational performance, maintenance, safety, and tenant satisfaction of its commercial property portfolio in Gauteng.
This position is responsible for ensuring that commercial buildings operate efficiently, remain compliant with health and safety regulations, and provide a safe, attractive, and cost-effective environment for tenants and visitors. The successful candidate will work closely with Property Managers, service providers, contractors, and tenants to maintain high property standards while effectively managing budgets and resources.
Primary Purpose of the Role
The Building Manager Commercial is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and monitoring all building-related operations within the portfolio. The role focuses on maintaining property assets, ensuring tenant satisfaction, overseeing outsourced service providers, implementing maintenance strategies, and managing building performance to meet operational and financial objectives.
The position also plays a vital role in preserving asset value, minimizing operational risks, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Tenant Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with tenants.
