South Cape TVET College offers various programmes: National Certificate Vocational (NCV), Report 191 N1-N6, artisan programmes and various occupational programmes. We have 6 campuses: Beaufort West, Oudtshoorn, George, Mossel Bay, Riversdale and Plettenberg Bay. We are in partnership with UNISA to offer the B Ed Foundation Phase and the Level 5 Certificate in ABET. Graduates requires work placement during and after their studies.

South Cape TVET College invites graduates to apply for Internships Programme at George, Central Office – South Cape TVET College, Western Cape, South Africa.

The South Cape TVET College, in collaboration with the Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDPSETA), offers an exciting opportunity for graduates to gain work experience in various disciplines over a 24-month period.

  • Stipend:
    • R5 000 per month for NQF Level 6 qualifications
    • R6 500 per month for NQF Level 7 qualifications

Fields of Study Considered

Applicants must hold a National Diploma (NQF 6), Degree, or BTech (Advanced Diploma/NQF 7) in the following areas:

  • Information Technology (Systems Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or ICT-related)
  • Marketing & Communication (Public Relations, Brand Management, Digital Marketing)
  • Finance & Supply Chain (Accounting, Logistics, SCM)
  • Engineering & Construction (Construction Management, OHS, Quantity Surveying, Infrastructure Project Management)
  • Human Resources (HR Development, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations/Law, Employee Wellness)

How to Apply

All applications must be submitted using the new Z83 application form, available at www.gov.za/documents. Incomplete or outdated Z83 forms will lead to disqualification.

  • Recent, certified copies (within 3 months) of:
    • Matric Certificate
    • Academic Transcripts
    • Qualifications
    • Identity Document
    • Driver’s License (if applicable)
  • Comprehensive and updated CV
  • SAQA Evaluation Certificate (for foreign qualifications)
  • Permanent Residence Permit (if not a South African citizen)

Note: Preference will be given to unemployed youth residing in the Eden District, Klein Karoo, and Central Karoo catchment areas.
