The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) is a South African government agency responsible for registering businesses and intellectual property rights.

CIPC, a member of the dtic, is committed to youth skills development by providing unemployed graduates with valuable work experience. This 24-month internship programme is designed to give graduates workplace exposure in line with their field of study, helping them to gain practical skills and professional growth.

Who Should Apply?

Beneficiaries of the Internship Programme include:

  • Unemployed South African graduates (18–35 years old).
  • Graduates who have completed a degree/diploma but have no work experience.
  • Graduates who have never participated in an internship programme.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Applicants must hold an Honours Degree / Post Graduate Diploma (NQF Level 8) in one of the following fields:

  • Strategic Management
  • Public Administration / Public Management
  • Philosophy, Politics and Economics
  • Business Management / Business Administration
  • Public Policy
  • International Relations
  • Data Science
  • Research
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
