Sun International invites graduates to apply for Professional Cookery Learnerships Programme at The Maslow Hotel, Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa. This NC Professional Cookery Learnership is a skills development initiative that offers unemployed youth the chance to gain practical work experience while achieving a formal qualification. The programme is hosted by The Maslow Hotel Sandton and is outcome-based, consisting of both theoretical and practical learning.
Learners will be mentored and supported throughout the 12-month programme, with the goal of closing the hospitality industry’s skills gap.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens with a valid ID
- Have completed Grade 12 (Matric) or hold an equivalent NQF Level qualification
- Submit a CV and motivational letter
- A culinary or hospitality certificate is advantageous
- Be willing to work shifts when required
