We are looking for an experienced Hard Services Manager to lead and manage all technical services across our client’s portfolio, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, lifts, UPS, generators, and building fabric. This role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, delivers maintenance excellence, and drives operational efficiency in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance for all hard services.
  • Ensure compliance with OHS Act, SANS standards, and client SHEQ requirements.
  • Manage technical teams and subcontractors, fostering a safety-first culture.
  • Control budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Act as senior escalation point for technical issues and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Diploma (NQF 6) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management.
  • Wireman’s License or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in hard services/facilities management and 5 years in people management.
  • Strong knowledge of generators, UPS, HVAC, lifts, BMS, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAFM/CMMS system
