The Insurance Sector Education and Training Authority (INSETA) is a South African government-mandated body established in March 2000 under the Skills Development Act of 1998. Its primary mandate is to grow the pool and quality of critical and scarce skills within the insurance and related services sector to support economic growth and national transformation.

Purpose of the Internship

To provide HR administrative support across the HR value chain, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data and effective HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and selection administration
  • Employee onboarding and off-boarding support
  • HR records management and filing
  • Training and skills development administration
  • Performance management and employee relations support
  • Wellness programmes and employee wellbeing activities
  • HR governance and policy support
  • General HR administrative support and audit preparation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree (NQF 7) in:
    • Human Resource Management
    • Industrial Psychology
    • Training & Development
    • Labour Relations
    • Employee Relations

Experience

  • No experience required
