PURPOSE OF POSITION
- To Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Must be able to practice within the scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Must be compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
- Must possess excellent inter-personal skills.
- Must be able to provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse in Maternity Ward.
- Must be prepared to do shift-work (Night shift / Day Shift)
Practical & Technical
- Must have excellent telephone skills.
- Must possess excellent inter-personal skills.
- Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision.
- Excellent observation skills.
- Must be computer literate
