The City of Ekurhuleni is a metropolitan municipality in the Gauteng province of South Africa, located east of Johannesburg. It was formed in 2000 through the amalgamation of the former East Rand region. Its name means “place of peace” in the Tsonga language. Covering 1,975 square kilometers, Ekurhuleni is one of the most densely populated areas in the country. It is strategically located as a transportation hub, home to a vast network of roads, railways, and O.R. Tambo International Airport.
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate in Business Administration or Public Administration or relevant equivalent NQF Level 5 qualification
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in an administrative / financial environment
- Previous finance administrative and supply chain management experience will be an added advantage
Core Responsibilities
- Provide finance related administrative support to Senior Manager Demand Planning and Enablement and the Department where required
- Responsible for implementation of operational process for demand planning section to ensure that all administrative duties are performed timeously and accurately
- Implement governance and risk management to ensure that the governance and risk management complies with CoE’s internal processes and policies
- Ensure adequate implementation and maintenance of financial process to ensure that the financial process with the required outcome is achieved
- Maintain customer service orientation to ensure that the customer services orientation, namely our direct stakeholders and National Treasury are adhered to
