The Cashier acts as the first point of contact for passengers, fostering trust and reliability in the service offered by the transport company. Key objectives include ensuring compliance with financial protocols, promoting company products and services, and contributing to a positive customer journey.
The role requires the incumbant to accurately and efficiently manage ticket sales and financial transactions while providing exceptional customer service. The role ensures passengers have a smooth ticketing experience, handles inquiries about fares, routes, and schedules, and maintains the integrity of financial processes to support the company’s operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimium qualification: Grade 12 / Matric / National Senior Certificate
- Experience in a similair role: Up to 1 year
- Be computer literate
- Able to work under pressure
- Prepared to work shifts
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive and safekeeping of funds
- Issuing of receipts of payments made
- Compiling daily revenue figures.
- Attend passengers complaints and queries
- Complete the necessary administrative documentation
- Be willing to move to where the company feels the duties need to be performed
