This role is crucial for maintaining sewer pump stations, ensuring they operate effectively by managing pumps, maintaining manual screens, performing housekeeping tasks, and conducting inspections.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of previous experience with sewer pump stations.
- Must be physically and medically fit.
Primary Duties:
- Conduct handovers from the previous shift.
- Sign the pump station register.
- Record all pump and sump level readings.
- Check and manage inlet and outlet valves.
- Inspect and clean pump stations and manual screens as needed.
- Report any faulty equipment.
- Monitor pump operations regularly.
Required Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of sewer pump stations.
- Knowledge of rigging, valves, and flow principles.
- Familiarity with safety procedures.
Skills and Attitude:
- Strong communication and housekeeping skills.
- Safety-conscious, cooperative, and willing to work overtime and shifts.
