This internship opportunity is designed to provide practical work exposure within the Supply Chain Management division at AgriSETA. Interns will assist with procurement, bid administration, logistics, travel arrangements, and related SCM duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and compare quotations from tax-compliant CSD suppliers
- Generate and manage purchase orders
- Assist in bid committee meetings and provide secretariat services
- Safeguard and manage stationery and office supplies
- Assist with staff travel bookings and logistics
- Maintain procurement registers and reporting compliance
- Perform ad hoc SCM tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent
- No prior work experience required
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Attention to detail and teamwork skills
