As a Consultant Microbiologist, you play a central role in supporting both clinicians and patients through thoughtful, expert consultation and the delivery of a dependable pathology service. Role Requirements

To thrive in this role, you bring the essential medical and specialist credentials that support sound clinical judgement and responsible practice. You hold an MBChB, complemented either a M.Med (Pathology) or FC Path SA (Microbiology), and you are registered with the HPCSA as a Specialist in Pathology in Microbiology. These qualifications ensure that the service you provide is rooted in professional expertise, ethical standards and a commitment to continuous improvement.
