Position Overview: Messenger / Cleaner (x2 Posts)

• Directorate: Corporate Services
• Reference Numbers: KD26/101/PB and KD28/101/PB
• Salary: R128,964.00 per annum (T04 of a Category 3 Local Authority)
• Date of Appointment: 01 October 2025 or as soon as possible

Minimum Requirements

• Basic Literacy
• One (1) year relevant experience
• Code B Driver’s License
• Ability to do basic calculations
• Proficiency in at least two of the Western Cape’s official languages (Afrikaans/English/isiXhosa)
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of offices and ablution facilities
• Prepare and serve beverages; maintain beverage stock and utensils
• Handle mail collection and delivery
• Perform basic filing and administrative support tasks
• Ensure health and safety compliance while on duty
