Job Description

Auto Pedigree is looking for a qualified and experienced Creditors Supervisor to join our Finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with proven experience in creditors management and team supervision. The successful candidate will be based at Spartan , Kempton Park.

Position Overview

To effectively control and maintain the creditors book, ensuring accuracy, timely payments, and compliance with company policies and procedures

Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience within a similar environment which is very fast-paced and handles significant volumes.

Minimum Qualification

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification an advantage

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid unendorsed driver’s license.
  • Highly proficient in Excel with a fair knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Relevant experience using Evolve – highly desirable

Job Outputs

  • Maintain Creditors database by setting up creditor codes, deleting inactive suppliers, updating supplier contact details, and confirming the accuracy of beneficiary banking details.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely reconciliation of all supplier accounts and ensure the resolution of all queries which arise between branches and suppliers. Ensure suppliers are paid according to terms.
  • Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.
  • Ensures compliance with legislative and audit requirements including the minimization of exposure by means of implementing policies and procedures to mitigate risk.
  • Supervision of all creditor clerks.
  • Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions
  • Assist with internal and external audits when required
  • Ad hoc duties when required
