EThekwini Municipality is a metropolitan municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Created in 2000, it includes the coastal city of Durban and its surrounding towns and rural areas. The Zulu word eThekwini means “ocean and bay lagoon”. The landscape features a warm, subtropical climate, extensive beaches, hilly regions, gorges, and ravines. The municipality’s composition of urban, semi-urban, and rural environments presents a challenge for sustainable development.
Job Purpose:
- To assess sewerage faults and to ensure quality control of field operations and inspection of sewerage infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Tested Artisan (Plumber or Bricklayer). Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 2 years relevant post apprenticeship experience.
