Duties & Responsibilities
Deliveries
- Deliver to and collect items from businesses.
- Confirm deliveries and collections by way of a logbook.
- Ensure the relevant registers are completed for the collection and delivery of goods and parcels.
Vehicle Maintenance
- Maintain vehicle in good order, including weekly check-up and fix of minor problems before they become irreparable.
- Keep the vehicle clean.
- Complete Daily Pre-Use Vehicle Inspections
- Ensure that the vehicles license is valid and renewed timorously by liaising with management on this
- Petrol Card is to be kept safe and used according to the policy laid out
Driving Duties
- Plan which route to take to deliver goods in the most efficient way.
- Collection of various staff to pick up points at the refinery when on duty there.
ISO 9001; 14001 & 18001 – Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards
- Adhere to the TFS’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies & Procedures of as applicable to this position

- Must be energetic.

- Must be honest, responsible and self motivated.
- Must be approachable, and be able to work independently.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Must be friendly, helpful and polite when dealing with customers.
- Must be quick and efficient in delivering mail or other goods
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Valid driver’s licence
- PDP would be preferable
- 1-2 years experience in similar position
