Job Duties
- Transport goods and materials from one place to another in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to lift heavy objects
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Prior experience as a driver preferred
Knowledge And Skills
- Excellent driving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional driving certifications
- Experience in logistics or distribution
Working Conditions
- Will involve driving in various weather conditions
- May require working on weekends or evenings
- Physical demands such as lifting and bending
