Internships Description

The Firefighter Internship Programme is designed to give qualified but unemployed firefighters the opportunity to gain practical workplace exposure within a municipal emergency services environment. This internship acts as a critical bridge between training and long-term employment in municipal fire and rescue services.

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12
2. Age: 20 – 35 years
3. Fire Fighter I
4. Fire Fighter II
5. Hazmat Awareness
6. First Aid Level 3
7. Physically and mentally fit
8. Hazmat Operational
9. Valid Code C Driver’s Licence
10. EC Driver’s Licence
