Job Advert Summary
Ensuring that mechanical systems and machinery operate efficiently and safely. Maintaining housekeeping, safety, health, and environmental standards. Able to interpret technical drawings, accurately assemble components, troubleshoot and repair machinery, and carry out preventative maintenance. Specialising in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems within the quarry industry. Completing all job cards as issued.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years relevant experience in heavy mechinary engineering hands-on experience.
- Matric or equivalent
- N3 with mechanical engineering subjects (Fitting & Machining)
- Trade certificate (26D/ Section 13 Red Seal)
- Mining and crushing plant experience
- Own reliable transport
- Computer literate.
- Code EB Driver License
- Experience in trouble shooting.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting of engineering drawings
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment, pumps, motors, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems
- Experience in preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on Ball mill, Jaw Crusher, Symon’s Crusher, Screens, Barmac and Pumps is essential
- Must specialize in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems on the quarry industry.
