International hotel School was established in the Carlton Hotel, Johannesburg in 1994, to meet the shortage of trained individuals for a service driven industry. It now offers a range of nationally and internationally recognised degrees, diplomas and certificates across all sectors of the hospitality industry. It has grown to six campuses: Johannesburg, Benoni, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Gqebera , as well as a national Traineeship programme and an Online Campus. Over 1300 students graduate annually. After receiving superior practical training (at least 50% of programme) they are job ready and highly skilled. Many our graduated students have gone on to work at well-known hospitality establishments such as Disney, Seaborne Cruise Liners, Ritz Carlton Hotels worldwide, to name but a few.

The purpose of this position is to be able to perform general cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition with adhoc handyman tasks. Completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision within stipulated periods of time.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Matric or equivalent is advantageous
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Experience in the hospitality industry beneficial
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
Essential Skills:
- Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
- Able to use basic cleaning equipment
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision
