Purpose

  • To execute engineering and project management functions within the Projects and Engineering Assets division. Specialist mechanical engineering knowledge and skills are required to measure, analyse, design and evaluate solutions to problems both in the execution of new capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects and maintenance (Operational expenditure – OPEX) projects. Additionally, project management is required to bring projects through the design and acquisition / appointment phase to successfully execution and project closure.

Responsibilities:

Assert conditions and compliance support

  • Assist in implementation of assert condition monitor and processes
  • Management of allocated mechanical maintains contract
  • Compiling standardized drawings of Senwes plant componence / machinery

Engineering design

  • Complete project life cycle management including but not limited to:
  • Feasibility studies
  • Expenditure proposal documentation
  • Project timeline, cost, recourse, quality, document and contractor management

Occupational health and safety development and adherence

  • Assist in developing and implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with regulations to ensure compliance and safety of operational maintenance and project personnel

Job Requirements
Requirements:

  • N.dip Mechanical Engineering (N6 minimum), candidates with a B.Tech Mechanical Engineering will receive preference
  • At least 3 years’ experience in mechanical engineering and project management
