Orthopaedic Trauma Unit, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
Band 3 – Full & Part Time (Day & Night rotation)
We have full time and a part time posts within the Orthopaedic Trauma Unit for a band 3 Healthcare Support Worker. The unit consists of 2 wards (ward 212 & ward 213) and has a total of 40 beds. We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries from minor injuries to poly trauma injuries.
The unit is very fast-paced and has a high turnover of patients. This post will give the successful candidate the opportunity to gain skills working with pre& post operative patients.
We are therefore looking for a hard working, enthusiastic and flexible applicants with an interest in surgical nursing & orthopaedics. The successful candidate should possess excellent organisational & time management skills.
Previous experience of working with Adults with incapacity or Dementia is desirable but training will be given.
