About City of Cape Town

The City of Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa and the second-largest city in the country. Located on the southwest coast beneath the iconic Table Mountain, it is a major port and a popular tourist destination. The City provides all the services normally associated with a full-service municipality, such as water, electricity, waste removal, sanitation, new infrastructure, roads, public spaces, facilities, housing developments, the upgrade of informal settlements and existing infrastructure, clinics and more.

Minimum Requirements

• A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field,
• Five (5) years’ relevant experience in industry-standard data modelling and analytics, dashboard building and reporting
• A valid Code B/EB driver’s licence is recommended
• Knowledge and skill in the following tools: Python, Power BI, SQL, MS Excel
