Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Computer literacy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written.
- Understanding of customer care and Batho Pele Principles.
- Willing to work under pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Duties: Financial Accounting Transactions: Receive, verify, and process invoices and payment vouchers.
- Capture all financial transactions on the relevant financial systems (BAS, LOGIS). Compile and process journals.
- Administer petty cash according to guideline.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations, including suspense and unallocated accounts.
- Budgeting Support: Assist in the compilation of budget submissions (e.g., MTEF).
- Monitor expenditure against budget and identify variances.
- Compile monthly In Year Monitoring (IYM) reports.
- Administration & Compliance: Render proper record-keeping and manage filing systems for all financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and other financial prescripts.
- Assist during audit processes by providing required information.
- Handle internal and external queries related to financial matters.
