Rola Toyota Bredasdorp is looking for an Automotive Apprentice (Learner Technician) to be trained and developed to kickstart a technical career in the motor industry. The essential requirement however is minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science as subjects.
Minimum Requirements
- Min Grade 12, with Mathematics & Science as subjects
- Automotive subject will be highly advantageous
- Young, vibrant and willing to learn
- Technical skills and a keen enthusiasm for motor vehicles
- Good timekeeping and ability to work under pressure
- Good verbal communication skills (most training offered in English)
- Must reside in Bredasdorp or surrounding areas
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists a qualified technician with servicing & repairs to vehicles while developing towards becoming a fully qualified, Red Seal–accredited Technician.
- Learn how to accurately clock times on all jobs.
- Ensure understanding of Repair Order Instructions before work begins
- Learn how to plan a job and identify parts that must be ordered
- Attends prescribed training
