Syntech: Procurement Internships 2025
This is a valuable opportunity for recent graduates or individuals seeking to launch a career in procurement, supply chain, or administration. The intern will gain practical experience by supporting the Procurement Department with a variety of administrative and operational tasks, including purchase order validation, vendor coordination, and product updates.
Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (required)
- Further education or qualifications (advantageous)
- Experience:
- 0–1 year in procurement or administration (preferred)
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
Key Responsibilities
- Attend daily procurement meetings
- Validate Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) and purchase orders
- Verify product details and upload box quantities into systems
- Support product and procurement teams with file checks and price comparisons
- Follow up with vendors to collect missing product information
- Assist in processing bulk orders, packaging reviews, and bond release documentation
- Update procurement backlogs and assist with ad hoc tasks as required
