EThekwini Municipality is a metropolitan municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Created in 2000, it includes the coastal city of Durban and its surrounding towns and rural areas. The Zulu word eThekwini means “ocean and bay lagoon”. The landscape features a warm, subtropical climate, extensive beaches, hilly regions, gorges, and ravines. The municipality’s composition of urban, semi-urban, and rural environments presents a challenge for sustainable development.
Job Purpose
- To provide technical expertise within the Water Network Branch to ensure that the water supply system functions optimally.
Essential Requirements
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Civil Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 3 Years relevant post qualification experience. Computer Literacy.
