KwaDukuza Local Municipality is a Category B municipality located within the iLembe District in the KwaZulu-Natal Province.
The KwaDukuza Local Municipality is a Category B municipality located within the iLembe District in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. It stretches from the Zinkwazi River in the north to the Tongaat River in the south. It is one of the four municipalities that make up the district. KwaDukuza (previously Stanger) is the district node and dominant commercial centre in the iLembe District. The KwaDukuza Municipality occupies a coastal and inland stretch of approximately 50km in length and 14km in width, with a variety of clustered and ad hoc settlements and small towns. The municipality is linked with a well-developed network of roads and rail infrastructure. The key feature of KwaDukuza is the N2 Development Corridor.
The Human Resources Management Internship 2025 offers graduates hands-on exposure to HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and municipal human resource systems. It’s an excellent opportunity for aspiring HR professionals to gain valuable experience in the public service environment.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- A Degree or National Diploma in one of the following fields:
- Human Resources Management
- Public Management
- Public Administration
- Labour Relations Management
- Or any equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6 or 7)
- Applicants must meet all qualification and documentation requirements as per the advert.
- Local residents must attach the Preferred Employment Opportunity Form signed by a Ward Councillor (for posts below Task Grade 13).
Stipend: R60 000 per annum
