Located on the southwest coast beneath the iconic Table Mountain, it is a major port and a popular tourist destination. The City provides all the services normally associated with a full-service municipality, such as water, electricity, waste removal, sanitation, new infrastructure, roads, public spaces, facilities, housing developments, the upgrade of informal settlements and existing infrastructure, clinics and more.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- 2 5 years relevant working experience
- Driver’s licence will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office package and SAP
Key Performance Areas
- Monitoring, receiving, checking applications / correspondence in relation to ETD programs
- Updating and recording various transactions associated with ETD functions on SAP. Creating and maintaining ETD records
- Compilation, reconciliation, research and presentation of stats/annual reports to management
- Providing relevant ETD information/statistics for compiling the Workplace Skills Plan, the BBBEE report as well as other city reports
- Maintain student files and database, ensuring data integrity, management of students’ payments and debtors.
- Provide updates to beneficiaries of MMC and FMP programmes
- Drafting letters and/or reports around External Opportunities such as Infrastructure Skills Development, Internal and External Financial Support, In-service student training, Graduate Interns, Job Shadow Vacation, Field Workers and Skills Programmes, Learnership and Apprenticeships and Adult Education and Training Students.
