Barloworld Equipment is the Southern African dealer for Cat Earthmoving Equipment, with operations in South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Angola, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and joint ventures in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Barloworld Equipment also holds full ownership of the main dealership on the Iberian peninsular and has recently completed the buy-out of their joint partner in the eastern Russia, Siberia dealership.

Position Outputs
- Successfully completing theoretical, practical, and skills assessments.
- Applying acquired skills effectively in the workplace.
- Keeping documentation (e.g., logbooks and training records) up-to-date.
- Ensuring workplace safety per organizational safety policies.
- Meeting personal performance goals (balanced scorecards and KPIs).

Minimum Qualifications Required
- Educational Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric with N3 in Mathematics and Physical Science or Foundational Learning Certificate (FLT).
- N2 or higher, including:
- Mathematics
- Science
- Trade Theory
- Technical Drawings
- NCV4 (National Certificate Vocational, Level 4) in relevant subjects like:
- Mathematics
- Physical Science
- Industrial Science
- Diesel Trade Theory
- Technical/Electrical Trade Theory
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid Code B Driver’s License (required before taking the trade test).
