The Business Development Consultant is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities to drive company growth. The role involves building strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to achieve sales targets. This position requires a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Acquisition:
o Identify and target new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
o Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
• Relationship Management:
o Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs and goals.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Sales and Strategy:
o Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business targets and KPIs.
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
o Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
• Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
o Provide insights and recommendations to enhance business strategies.
• Collaboration and Reporting:
o Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics in CRM systems.
o Prepare regular reports and presentations for management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• Experience:
o Proven track record in business development, sales, or a similar role.
o Experience in [industry or sector, e.g., IT, finance, retail] is preferred.
