What You Will Experience
This is not a shadowing programme. You will work on real projects that influence decision-making across payments, lending, digital wallets, and financial services products.
You will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions
- Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, risks and opportunities
- Build dashboards and reporting solutions using SQL, Power BI and Python
- Work with modern data platforms such as Snowflake
- Contribute to initiatives involving analytics, machine learning and AI
- Present insights to business stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Participate in structured mentorship and personal development programmes
You will gain exposure to both the technical and commercial side of analytics — understanding not just how to analyse data, but why it matters.
What We Are Looking For
- A recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics or a related field
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Interest in programming languages such as SQL and Python
- Curiosity about data platforms, visualisation tools and AI
- Strong communication skills — able to explain insights clearly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- South African citizenship
