The City provides all the services normally associated with a full-service municipality, such as water, electricity, waste removal, sanitation, new infrastructure, roads, public spaces, facilities, housing developments, the upgrade of informal settlements and existing infrastructure, clinics and more.
Minimum Requirements
- A BTech/Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Registered as a Candidate Technologist with ECSA
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in the survey, geometric design, service design, contract documentation, construction and maintenance of civil engineering infrastructure
- Experience in the assessment of land use management/development applications to establish
- conditions of approval for all developments, will be advantageous
- A valid Code B driver’s licence
