About Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO)
The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) is a Quality Council established in 2010 in terms of the Skills Development Act (Act 97 of 1998) as amended in 2008. The QCTO also offers guidance to skills development providers (private and public) and assessment centres who must be accredited by the QCTO in order to implement occupational qualifications.
Job purpose
Support the Marketing and Communications team by creating engaging visual and multimedia content for digital, print, and internal communication platforms.
Key functions:
- Design marketing and communication materials such as posters, flyers, banners, infographics, presentations, and social media creatives
- Assist with layout and design for print and digital publications
- Ensure all designs align with the organization’s brand guidelines
- Assist in creating and editing short videos, reels, animations, and motion graphics
- Support photography and videography for events, campaigns, and internal activities
- Assist with basic video editing, sound, and visual enhancement
- Create visual content for social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
- Assist in preparing multimedia content for websites, newsletters, and digital campaigns
- Support content scheduling and platform optimization
- Maintain an organized digital asset library
- Assist with brainstorming creative concepts and campaign ideas
- Provide general support to the Marketing and Communications team as required
Job Requirements
A recognized National Diploma at NQF Level 6 in Graphic design, Multimedia design, Visual communication and Digital Media

- Time management and organization al skills
Other requirements:
- Unemployed South African citizens between 18 and 35 years.
- South Africans who are in possession of a minimum of a National Diploma at NQF level 6.
- No working experience required.
