The Cross Border Road Transport Agency (C-BRTA) is a South African statutory body established to regulate and facilitate the movement of passengers and freight by road between South Africa and other Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries. Its main goal is to improve the flow, safety, and efficiency of cross-border road transport.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Intern will participate in the following activities under supervision:
- Support and assist the Risk Specialist in the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. This will involve working closely with and assisting the Risk Champions as they carry out their roles and responsibilities related to embedding a culture of sound risk management practices.
- Support the development of risk registers
- Help prepare risk reports and documentation
- Help facilitate risk workshops and training sessions
- Handle stakeholder management issues
- Perform any other functions that may be assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Risk Management.
Competencies:
- Computer skills (Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) .
- Must be a South African Citizen.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Can maintain confidentiality.
