Job Summary

Clover is currently recruiting for a Sales Representative: Emerging Markets. The successful candidate will be responsible to maximise sales of Clover and principal products in smaller outlets. This exciting opportunity is based at the Clover Nelspruit branch.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
  • National Diploma, in Sales and/or Marketing will be an added advantage
  • Business English: Fluent
  • Must reside at Nelspruit, Bushbuckridge, Kabokweni and/or the surrounding areas
  • Code 10 motor vehicle license

Duties and Responsibilities
Increase sales volumes in stores

  • Prepare route plans and adhere to call cycles
  • Complete sales administration
  • Liaise with customers at store level
  • Introduce appropriate measures to address customer needs
  • Source and maintain new business to develop 250 and above, active buying customer base

Provide service to customers through sales processes

  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations
  • Support customers with appropriate sales procedures
  • Ensure constant stock availability and visibility of Clover products
  • Minimise stock returns and zero tolerance to order cancellations
  • Maintain facings

Monitor and report on sales volumes and pricing

  • Record and report on sales per outlet and product category
  • Implement negotiated prices
  • Monitor and maintain fridge compliance

Optimise basket of Principal product

  • Negotiate optimisation of basket
  • Introduce new products and Principals
  • Arrange launches and promotional material
