Internship Description

Takealot Group is looking for a highly talented People Intern to join our team in Cape Town. The Internship Programme will be split between all businesses within the Group, namely: takealot.com, TFS and Mr D.

Qualifications & Experience:

N6 certificate in Human Resource Management or a related field

The skills we need:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyse and manage data using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or HR Information Systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Key responsibilities:

• Support recruiters with interview scheduling and coordination
• Communicate with candidates and ensure a positive recruitment experience
• Capture and update candidate information on the recruitment system
• Assist with job adverts, CV screening, and shortlisting support
• Prepare interview packs and follow up on interview feedback
• Support onboarding administration once offers are accepted
• Assist with recruitment reporting and tracking of roles
• Support graduate programmes, recruitment projects, and employer branding activities

This is a 12-month contract position.
