OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

As a Talent Acquisition Intern, you’ll support our recruitment team in identifying and engaging talent across a variety of functions. This is a great opportunity to learn how hiring works in a regulated, science-driven industry while building practical HR and recruitment skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, from job posting to onboarding
  • Assist with risk checks including references
  • Assist with CV screening and candidate shortlisting
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems
  • Support employer branding initiatives
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and administrative tasks
  • Contribute ideas to improve candidate experience and recruitment processes

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Degree in Human Resources; Psychology, Business, Life Sciences
  • Honours is an advantage

SOFT SKILLS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong interest in recruitment, HR, and employer branding
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working with data and digital tools
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Ability to solve problems and show initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work alone and within a team
  • Good time management
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines

COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED

The applicant must be proficient in the various applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) within the Microsoft Office bundle.
