Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of Grade 12, National Diploma (NQF level 6)/ B. Degree (NQF level 7) in Psychology or Social Science related.
- Experience: 2–3 years’ experience required.
- Knowledge: Clerical duties, practices, computer operation, minute taking, agenda compilation, problem-solving skills, supervisory skills.
- Legislative framework governing the public service.
- Knowledge of working procedures. Advantage: Knowledge in research. Skills: Planning, interpersonal relation, language flexibility with good verbal and written communication skills. Other: Willingness to be trained for OHS, Disaster management, and chaplaincy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management.
- Render administration support duties. Participate and assist in EVP (Employee Value Proposition) programmes.
- Provide secretariate duties during meetings, including minutes taking, compilation of agenda and action plan.
- Contribute to the development, coordination, and delivery of employee health and wellness initiatives.
- Allocate and ensure quality of work and assess staff performance.
- Compile monthly and quarterly reports.
- Participate in the formation of facilities EVP institutional committees.
- Coordinate and ensure the promotion of health and safety.
