EThekwini Municipality is a metropolitan municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Created in 2000, it includes the coastal city of Durban and its surrounding towns and rural areas. The Zulu word eThekwini means “ocean and bay lagoon”. The landscape features a warm, subtropical climate, extensive beaches, hilly regions, gorges, and ravines. The municipality’s composition of urban, semi-urban, and rural environments presents a challenge for sustainable development.
Job Purpose
- Performs administrative accounting activities associated with the updating, verification and reconciliation of transactional information against system records and provides general office support in order to ensure instructions, reporting deadlines and outcomes are accomplished in accordance with laid down procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 1 Year relevant experience. Computer Literacy.
