The National Empowerment Fund (NEF) is a South African development finance institution (DFI) established by the NEF Act No. 105 of 1998. Its primary mandate is to promote and facilitate Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) by providing financial and non-financial support to black-owned and managed businesses.

The Graduate Placement Programme gives ambitious and qualified graduates a chance to gain real work experience, sharpen critical skills and learn from industry experts in the fast-paced Retail and Wholesale sector.

Job description

The National Empowerment Fund (NEF) has collaborated with the Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA) to support graduate placement programmes across the country.

 

We are looking for unemployed graduates to join the Graduate Programme on a 12 months growth journey.

 

Successful graduates will be based in the following provinces:

  • KwaZulu Natal
  • Mpumalanga
  • Free State – QwaQwa and Bloemfontein
  • Gauteng
  • Limpopo
  • Western Cape
Minimum requirements

Qualifications

We are looking for graduates who have completed a diploma or degree in any of the following fields:

  • Business Management
  • Marketing Management
  • Financial Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Supply Chain Management / Logistics
  • Retail Business Management
  • Wholesale and Retail Operations
  • Public Management / Public Administration
  • Office Administration
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Other relevant qualification

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be currently unemployed and not registered in any learnership or graduate programme
  • No prior work experience is required
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Computer Literacy
