EThekwini Municipality is a metropolitan municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Created in 2000, it includes the coastal city of Durban and its surrounding towns and rural areas. The Zulu word eThekwini means “ocean and bay lagoon”. The landscape features a warm, subtropical climate, extensive beaches, hilly regions, gorges, and ravines. The municipality’s composition of urban, semi-urban, and rural environments presents a challenge for sustainable development.
Job Purpose
- To devise and design computer systems requirements for the solution of difficult business problems or for segments of more complex problems and formulate procedures for their solutions as well as develops, implementation and maintenance of major systems.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license.
- 3 Years relevant experience.
