Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • No experience required

Knowledge Requirements

Applicants should have basic knowledge of:

  • Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations
  • Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act
  • Public Financial Management Act (PFMA)
  • Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA)
  • UIF policies and procedures
  • Batho Pele Principles
  • Government policies and guidelines

Required Skills

  • Time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail

Key Duties

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Providing screening services
  • Processing UIF benefit applications
  • Registering payment continuation forms
  • Performing administrative duties
  • Assisting work seekers with employment services (PES posts)
  • Supporting client services at labour centres
